House Renovation Series - The Living Room

When we moved here the living room looked like on the photos below. I liked: the fireplace, huge windows and massage chair.

I hated all the drapes that covered most of the windows. And I wasn't really happy with all the orange and yellow.

BEFORE

First I removed all the drapes and painted the windows white. I made bookshelves that now contain most of my books. Coffee table is also a DIY. I painted an old school desk that I found in the basement.

I also painted some other furniture and walls white.
